Carving a New Path
I longed for connection for many years. I lived with a sense of disconnect even within my relationships. My heart was deeply hurting, and I didn’t know how to fix it.
I lived somewhere between always being anxious or angry. I worked hard to overcome these influences in my life in counselling and at church, but I couldn’t get to where I wanted to be until I addressed the trauma in my life.
I was operating out of my triggers and therefore I was safe one minute and unsafe the next. This interfered with my relationships with my husband and children, and I wanted more.

It is very difficult to live under the pressure and confusion from trauma. Experiencing Narcissistic abuse, codependency, neglect, trauma bonding or violence in the home is very hard on one’s body, mind and soul.
The trauma interferes with the connections we have with God, ourselves and others. Trauma is stored in the body and if we ignore it, we develop negative coping skills. These patterns cause harm to us and others because we have not dealt with them.
I had hard questions that I wanted answers from God about concerning my trauma. I have come to a good place with Him and slowly began to trust Him. He sent me various women to show me a better way to love and be loved. I hope to be one of these kind of women for you.
I would love for you to reach out to me. Together with my partner Riley, my Poodle, we can help you move beyond how your body holds tightly to your trauma and how that influences your choices.
